Grammy-winning pop artist Bruno Mars released his latest single, “I Just Might,” on Friday, January 9, marking the lead release from his upcoming full-length album titled The Romantic, which is scheduled to debut on February 27.

Mars announced the new music earlier this week through a post on his official Instagram account on Thursday, January 8, sparking excitement among fans worldwide.

“New music this Friday. ‘The Romantic’ coming 2.27,” the post read.

The release of “I Just Might” was accompanied by its official music video, which was made available on YouTube on the same day.

Shortly after the song’s release, Mars shared another message celebrating his return to the music scene.

“It’s party time! The self proclaimed Aura Lord is Back,” he said.

The Romantic will be Mars’ first solo studio album in nearly a decade, following the release of 24K Magic in 2016.

That album earned multiple accolades and further established Mars as one of the leading pop and R&B artists of his generation.

Reports indicate that Mars collaborated with longtime creative partner and American songwriter Philip Lawrence on the new album. Lawrence has previously worked with Mars on several of his most successful projects.

In addition to the album announcement, Mars also revealed plans for The Romantic concert tour, which will support the album’s release.

The tour will include performances across the United States, Europe, and the United Kingdom, and is set to begin in Las Vegas on April 10.

Mars has remained active in the music industry in recent years through high-profile collaborations. Prior to releasing his new single, he worked with Lady Gaga on the song “Die with a Smile” and collaborated with Rosé of K-pop girl group Blackpink on the track “APT,” both of which received strong reception and industry recognition.

With the release of “I Just Might” and the upcoming launch of The Romantic, Mars is set to make a major return to the spotlight in 2026, nearly ten years after his last solo album.
