The end of an era: where will Pipeline go after Its final weekend at IT Park?

For years, Pipeline & Sugbo Mercado have been more than just a food and nightlife destination—it has been a weekend tradition for many Cebuanos.

From after-work dinners to late-night hangouts, the open-air venue became one of the defining spots in Cebu IT Park.

Now, its story at IT Park is coming to an end.

This weekend marks Pipeline’s final weekend at its longtime location, following the departure of Sugbo Mercado, which has already confirmed its relocation within IT Park.

While Sugbo Mercado has announced its new home at Skyrise 5, Pipeline has yet to reveal where it will relocate next.

As of this writing, no official announcement has been made regarding its future location or what establishment will replace the current site.

For many, this isn’t just the closing of a venue—it’s the end of a place filled with memories. First dates, celebrations, reunions, and spontaneous nights out all happened under the lights of Pipeline.

As Cebu continues to grow and evolve, familiar places inevitably make way for new developments. But while buildings can be replaced, the memories made there remain.

The only question left is: Where will Pipeline go next—and will its next chapter be just as memorable as the one it’s leaves behind?
